Subaru Impreza WRX PPP
This is my current tin-top. I needed a "sensible family saloon" to replace the TVR to fit a baby seat in! The specification of the car is as follows: -
- 2004 Subaru Impreza WRX
- Prodrive Performance Pack (increase from factory 225bhp to 265bhp)
- Dension dh100ix 40Gb hard disk MP3 player head unit
- Witter towbar, for towing my MK Indy!
- Everything else is standard
Not a lot else to say really, it does exactly what you would expect - it's a very quick and capable road car, it has 4 seats and so is practical (though the boot entry isn't big enough for a large baby buggy!) and it's as reliable as a Japanese thing.
I recently (October 2007) did a track day in it at Donington Park, but it's not as track-ready as my MK Indy. The brakes are far too small, and it would need the suspension sorting. Oh, and it eats tyres for breakfast!
